Hi there! I am Deepto, a first year BS-MS student at IISER-Kolkata. Yes, that's me right there, to the left. (The sorting hat sorted me into Gryffindor, just in case you were wondering.)
My interests include -
- Origami: My dad introduced me to the wonderful art of origami at the age of 6. Since then, origami has become an art form that I love to practise. In recent years, with increasingly busy study schedules, I haven't been able to give much time to the art. Still, when I do get the time, I am ready to take up a piece of paper and start folding!
- Coding: It began with coding in QBASIC back in class 7, but I took coding kind of seriously only after beginning with Java in class 10. I also learnt Python in class 11 and 12. Check out my Github profile down there!
- Sports: I take interest in a variety of sports, which include cricket, football, badminton and chess. Cricket was once my go-to sport, but currently it's football. (P.S.: Messi is the GOAT.)
