Meghithdharshan.
I am a 2nd Year BS-MS (Dual Degree) student at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata, pre-majoring in Physics and Chemistry. I have a strong focus on Radio Astronomy, Astrophysics, and computational methods.

02. Research Exposure
NCRA & GMRT Visit
- Gained exposure to current research in Pulsars, AGNs, Magnetic stars, and Solar astronomy.
- Attended a hands-on session on observing the Sun in the Radio Physics Lab, including data collection and basic analysis.
- Gained an understanding of GMRT operations (frontend/backend) and the SPOTLIGHT project.
03. Projects
Radio JOVE Antenna
- Supervised by Prof. Avinash Deshpande, Prof. Rajesh Kumble Nayak, Prof. Raghunath Ghara.
- Formed and coordinated a team of 7 students to build a radio JOVE antenna system for low-frequency radio observations of Jupiter.
- Constructed and tested a functional single dipole antenna at IIT Madras.
- Currently analyzing waterfall plots to identify Jupiter emission signals.
04. Leadership
Office Bearer, Singularity
- Organized student/faculty talks, workshops, and stargazing sessions.
- Designed the overall structure and layout of the club's website.
- Coordinated Design and YouTube teams for events and media editing.

- Brought together students to introduce Radio Astronomy at IISER Kolkata through student-led collaborative projects.
