I am pursuing an Integrated Dual Degree BSMS in Earth Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata. My academic journey has fostered a strong interest in climate Science, particularly in the predictive capabilities for precipitation events during the Indian Summer Monsoon. I have honed skills in Python programming, data analysis, and geospatial techniques through my coursework and research experiences.

Internship
During my summer internship, I tackled the inconsistency in views on Indian Summer Monsoon (ISM) rainfall trends. My role included extensive literature reviews, data analysis, and synthesizing information to understand the complexities influencing ISM patterns. I contributed to reconciling conflicting findings and evaluating the impact of climate change through ISM. Actively engaging in discussions on the societal relevance of accurate climate information, I highlighted the limitations of current models. This experience enhanced my research, data analysis, and critical evaluation skills, emphasizing the importance of precise regional climate data for informed decision-making
Fieldwork
Sedimentology Fieldwork
In the Mohand region of the Uttarakhand Shivaliks, namely in the Doon Valley, I had the chance to investigate and learn about geology during an educational field trip of five days. The primary focus of the trip was to gain hands-on experience in analyzing various aspects of the geological landscape
