WELCOME to my personal Home page. I am Rafiqul Rahaman; Currently, I am a Post Doctoral Fello at Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Allhabad, India working in High Energy Physics Phenomenology (hep-ph).

I grew up in Mathabhanga, a small town in Cooch Behar district in West Bengal. After completing my Higher Secondary (X+2) in 2008 in my home town, I moved to Kolkata for my B.Sc. in Asutosh College under the University of Calcutta. In 2011, I went to Mumbai for M.Sc. at IIT Bombay. Then I joined the Doctoral Program at IISER Kolkata in 2013 December and successfully defended the thesis in July 2020. I started working as a postdoctoral fellow at HRI in October 2020.

Research interests

Hello

I work in the field of Theoretical Particle Physics focusing mainly on Phenomenology. My research interest lies in Phenomenology of Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) Physics including Anomalous gauge boson and Higgs couplings, SUSY, Non-standard Higgs and Dark Matter, polarizations of vector boson and top quark etc. I also have keen interest in the field of Gravitation and cosmology including Big-Bang, Inflation, Quantum Gravity in the interface of particle physics.
