Hello!
I am Shibajyoti Das an aspiring paleontologist and paleobiologist. Born and brought up in a bengali family at Agartala, Tripura situated in the picturesque North-east India. I completed my schooling from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar, Tripura. I did my Integrated MS from The Department of Earth Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and research, Kolkata, pursuing Geoscience. Currently I am working as a PhD student in the Department of Earth sciences, Syracuse university.
I am a Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellow, 2009 and a Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) scholar, 2008.
On the other side, i am a Cricket enthusiast and play cricket, Football and Volleyball. I have interests in organizing events. I was the Events-Coordinator of Inquivesta-2013, The Science Fest of IISER Kolkata. I was also a member of the Students Gymkhana (Students Council) of IISER Kolkata.
