WELCOME to my personal Home page. I am Rafiqul Rahaman and currently I am a senior research fellow (SRF) in the Department of Physical Sciences at IISER Kolkata working in High Energy Physics Phenomenology (hep-ph) with Dr. Ritesh K. Singh.

I grew up in Mathabhanga, a small town in Cooch Behar district in West Bengal. After completing my Higher Secondary (X+2) in 2008 in the home town I moved to Kolkata for my B.Sc. in Asutosh College under University of Calcutta. In 2011 I went to Mumbai for M.Sc. at IIT Bombay. After my M.Sc. I joind the Doctoral Program here at IISER Kolkata in 2013 December. I expect to submit my thesis by March 2019.

Research interests

I work in the field of Theoretical Particle Physics focusing mainly in the Phenomenology. My research interest lies in Phenomenology of Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) Physics including Anomalous gauge boson and Higgs couplings, SUSY, Non-standard Higgs and Dark Matter, polarizations of vector boson and top quark etc. I also have keen interest in the field of Gravitation and cosmology including Big-Bang, Inflation, Quantum Gravity in the interface of particle physics.
