Saptarshi Maji

Hello! I'm Saptarshi

'Researcher by profession, artist at heart' thats what I like to call my self. Science and art are not so different than each other, rather they are associated closely. While science seeks explanation for natural phenomena, art provides a subjective interpretation to it. By training, I am a molecular biologist who loves to uncover the mystries our life holds. I just finished my Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata. Besides being a researcher, I am an avid reader. In my leisure times, I write poetry and short stories in my mothertongue bengali. I am also passionate about photography, painting, playing guitar, and traveling.
