First off, let me get rid of the suspense by telling you that Vaibhav Karve's name is spelled
V-a-i-b-h-a-v K-a-r-v-e! Quite
obvious, don't you think?
Yes, of course you think it is obvious and easy; your name ain't Vaibhav now is it? If it is indeed so obvious, do you mind
explaining why a person, whose name is a Sanskrit word meaning
prosperity should have his name pronounced and spelled with
more variety than is statistically fathomable, or mentally tolerable. I doubt Shakespeare would have written the famous line
quoted above if his name had been Vaibhav instead of William.
Reported sightings commonly involve Vaibhow, Baibhab, Baibab, Baivab, Vybhav or Vaibab. The last name too is known to be misspelt as
Karbe or Garve.
