Day 4: Lost in the Beauty of Lamahatta (7th October)

The morning began with a leisurely walk around the outskirts of Lamahatta. The serenity was almost unreal, with mist rolling over the hills and birds serenading the start of the day.
After breakfast, we set off to visit the Orchid Garden and a Buddhist Temple. Though the temple was closed, we didn't mind. Instead, we spent an hour climbing up and down the misty hills, embracing the solitude.
Next, we headed to Tinchuley Tea Garden. The girls donned traditional outfits, adding to the charm of the already picturesque landscape. The tea garden, with its rolling green slopes under a gradient of blue and white sky, was a visual masterpiece.
A split in the group happened at the Orchid Garden. While some admired the vibrant blooms, Anuj, Bishes, and I decided to chase adventure. We wandered into the pine forests, following no map, just instinct. It was an hour and a half of pure thrill, where every turn unveiled untouched beauty. At the end of it, we felt like we had walked straight into heaven.
By evening, we regrouped and sipped on tea, before heading towards our next destination—Darjeeling's outskirts. We arrived at Trippers Hostel, explored a nearby village, and ended the night with a bonfire, singing, laughing, and soaking in the final moments of Lamahatta's magic.
